From February 9 – 25 the Olympic Winter Games 2018 take place in Pyeongchang. The German Snowboard Association this summer already set up a core team of most promising athletes. Eight snowboarders are part of the Top Team Pyeongchang and can qualify for the pursuit of medals in Southern Korea the following weeks.
Perfect race preparation with Reichmann race machine PROFI S350

Qualification at Big Air World Cup in Mönchengladbach
The next occasion to collect qualification points is the Big Air World Cup in Mönchengladbach on 2 December. In the freestyle discipline „Big Air“ the step height, style, difficulty and performance of the tricks as well as the landing are rated. If the athletes achieve good results, the first tickets for Pyeongchang can already be validated in Mönchengladbach. Stefan Knirsch, managing director of Snowboard Germany, emphasized at the season press conference, that the Top Team athletes have good chances for an Olympia participation. The final decisions, which athletes are qualified for the Winter Olympic Games are taken on 22 January 2018.
