Acquisition announcement: Reichmann takes over intellectual property of MAUS s.r.l.

The takeover has been official since July 1st. Reichmann & Sohn GmbH is now owner of the trademark rights and intellectual property of the Italian mechanical engineering company MAUS s.r.l. With the acquisition, Reichmann has secured valuable know-how in the field of foundry automation. This way, Reichmann is further expanding its position as a world's leading provider of automatic casting finishing solutions and opening up new growth and development potential.

“With the acquisition of the Maus brand and all of the intellectual property, we like to combine the technological know-how of both companies and enable new developments. Our goal is to offer our customers the best solutions for foundry automation on the market,” says Stefan Reichmann, Managing Director of Reichmann & Sohn GmbH.

Reichmann Casting Finishing and MAUS are present as leading providers of foundry automation among the metal foundries worldwide with an existing total machine park of over 1000 installed machines. A new, innovative product line for automatic casting finishing will be presented in September. In order to reliably supply existing MAUS customers with spare parts and services, a service and spare parts management is set up at the company's headquarters in Weissenhorn.
